Norman Data Defense Systems has confirmed that its Norman Virus Control and Norman Access Control will be Windows 2000 compatible on the next release – due early in the second quarter. Microsoft has introduced a programme for anti-virus software suppliers to ensure Windows 2000 servers and clients will reach optimal operation reliability after this type of software has been installed on a machine. Certification for participating suppliers is expected in June or July. Norman and Microsoft will continue to work together testing compatibility for the Windows Millennium Edition.
